To get to the rainbow, you’ve got to courageously move through the storm. You’ve already done it, countless times… the question is… is your desire for your next level breakthrough strong enough to inspire you to take the leap, face the storm, confront the fears and the uncomfortable emotions that have kept you from moving forward?

The thing you really fear, isn’t really what you’re afraid of. You’re more afraid of feeling the unpleasant emotions that accompany the experience of facing the fear. Running toward the thing you fear, is what allows you to discover… there was never anything to fear in the first place.

But if you don’t have a worthy goal, a soul-stirring mission, a desire and a vision that’s so strong it pulls you out of bed in the morning with excitement to start your day, your desire likely isn’t strong enough to move you through the illusory walls of your comfort zone.

Comfort is a strange thing. Most people want it, and yet it’s in the discomfort where we most grow. And when we are growing, we are truly happy and fulfilled. When we’re not growing, we’re stagnant and flat.

Are you taking risks on a daily basis?

No, it doesn’t have to be adrenalin-fueled extreme sports.

A risk is doing something you’ve never done before.

A risk might be daring to have an uncomfortable conversation in the interest of deeper truth.

A risk might be taking action without being perfect or having a plan.

A risk might be slowing down to listen, breathe, and relax, when you’re in the habit of always being busy.

But if you’re a visionary, here to be an agent of change in the world, you’ve got to make DISCOMFORT your new comfort.

You’ve got to be willing to brave the storms, in order to see the rainbows. Who cares if you get wet, hailed on, muddy, and cold? You will love the person you become because you got into the game of your life and played fully.
